Cheyenne Phakousonh is this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight! She is a sophomore at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. This week’s awardee is a recipient of the 2016 Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium Elijah Balloon Payload Team Fellowship Program.

Cheyenne worked as one of the payload technicians for the Elijah Balloon Payload Team. As part of the payload team, she helped design, build, and launch the payload. Cheyenne was also involved with the NASA Robotic Mining Competition team as a shadow team member.
