WSGC Student Spotlight: Rebecca Hall
Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Rebecca Hall! Rebecca is the recipient of the 2022-2023 Dr. Laurel Salton Clark Graduate and Professional Research Fellowship and the 34th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference Graduate Poster Session winner.
Rebecca is a current graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison within Dr. Ángel Adames-Corraliza’s Large Scale Tropical Dynamics Lab. Her research focuses on tropical mesoscale convective systems’ structures and life-cycles in terms of how they relate to the environmental thermodynamic and dynamic conditions. Other research interests include convection onset and storm structure and growth. Rebecca’s passion for atmospheric science is also seen in her work as the Graduate Student Association’s outreach coordinator and her work in expanding science resources to rural communities. Outside of academia, she can be found practicing colorguard or playing with her dog, Ladybug.
Congratulations Rebecca, and best of luck in your future!
