WSGC Student Spotlight: Sydney Closson

Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Sydney Closson! Sydney is the recipient of the 2022-2023 Undergraduate Scholarship.

Sydney Closson, Lawrence UniversityUndergraduate Scholarship, 2023 Sydney Closson is a Lawrence University student currently pursuing a geoscience degree. Originally from North Carolina, Sydney has always been fascinated by the night sky and what secrets places beyond our planet might hold. She hopes to examine the universe through the lens of geoscience and hopes that the support of the WSGC will help her achieve this goal. In addition to collecting rocks and staring at the sky, Sydney enjoys sewing, playing horn, and swing dancing with her friends.
