Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Arianna Alirez! Arianna is the recipient of the 2022-2023 Woman in Aviation Scholarship.
Arianna, a current student at Ripon College is hoping to earn a double major in Chemistry and Physics. She has been interested in how and why things fly since she was little and wants to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering. Her goal is to be a civilian contractor and work on military aircraft, specifically on the F-22 Raptor to make the jet better and give it a new and improved design. Arianna is also a student-athlete with Type 1 diabetes and has had it since she was four years old. She is very excited to see where the engineering field takes her as her passion for aircraft drives her forward.
Congratulations, Arianna, and best of luck in your future!
