Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Arianna Alirez! Arianna is the recipient of the 2022-2023 Woman in Aviation Scholarship.
Arianna, a current student at Ripon Collegeis hoping to earn a double major inChemistry and Physics. She has been interested in how and why things fly since she was little and wants to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering. Her goal is to be a civilian contractor and work on military aircraft, specificallyon the F-22 Raptor to make the jetbetter and give it a new and improved design. Arianna is also a student-athlete with Type 1 diabetes and has had it since she was four years old. She is very excited to see where theengineering field takes her as her passion for aircraft drives her forward.
