DOE Summer 2022 Internships Announced
DOE’s Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists program within the Office of Science is accepting applications for the Summer 2022 term for Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) and Community College Internships (CCI). The deadline to apply for both programs is Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022.
Through SULI and CCI, undergraduate students discover science and technology careers at DOE national laboratories and gain the experience needed to transition from intern to employment. Interns work directly with national laboratory scientists and engineers, assisting them on research or technology projects that support the DOE mission. SULI is open to students attending an accredited institution, including accredited community colleges and two-year colleges, while CCI is exclusively for community college students that are interested in technical careers.
Employees are encouraged to share these opportunities with faculty and students in their professional networks. For matching purposes, we encourage applicants to select INL as their first-choice laboratory. Doing so ensures that they appear in the first pool of applicants that INL reviews when matching candidates with opportunities at the lab.
