Scholarships are available for science students

Carthage science students: Apply now for funding to support your research, continue your studies, and to recognize your achievements. Four student funding programs at the NASA Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium are now open for your applications. More information and registration/application instructions are available online. - Undergraduate Scholarships: $2,000 in recognition of your excellence and potential in your STEM major — Applications due Feb. 5, 2018.
- STEM Bridge Scholarship: $2,000 renewable scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students identified as a member of a federally recognized minority group (African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, or Pacific Islander) enrolled in a STEM program of study, demonstrating an interest in aerospace or supporting NASA’s mission — Applications due Feb. 5, 2018.
- Undergraduate Research Award: $4,000 for the pursuit of your research project on campus — Applications due Feb. 5, 2018.
- Elijah High Altitude Balloon Program: $4,000 paid summer stipend to participate in the residential design-build-fly high-altitude balloon program. Work with students from around the state to build and fly a near-space vehicle of your own design — Applications due Feb. 19, 2018.
