University of Wisconsin - La Crosse
Major:  Physics
Minor:  Mathematics

Rebecca Taylor is this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight! She is a 2016 Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Research Fellowship awardee.  Rebecca conducts research on interstellar neutral hydrogen shells which are formed by supernova explosions and their interactions with the gas in the interstellar medium. These shells are observable through radio telescopes and Rebecca sets out to find new hydrogen shells. As an awardee, Rebecca presented her research at the 26th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference this past August. Her work will be featured in the Proceedings of the 26th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference.  Once again, congratulations Rebecca and keep up the excellent work!
