Jambo from Tanzania! After 23 hours of travel, we reached our final destination at Kilimanjaro International Airport!

At the airport, we met our tour guides, two brothers named Mufasa and Isaac, who took us in vans through the villages of Tanzania. We saw many sheep and goats on our way, and the best part was that the children tending to the animals would always smile and wave at us as we drove by.

Finally, we got to our hotel for the night in a town called Moshi! We were greeted by the staff with many smiles, and they even gave us juice to drink as we came in from the hot African summer! After going for a dip in the pool, our tour guides and hotel set up a delicious banquet to welcome us to the country. They had a band singing Tanzanian music, delicious food (like cooked plantains and fresh fruit), and a night of interacting with the other guests at the hotel.

Our Tanzania tour is off to a great start — we will be back to update you when we go to our next city, Arusha! Bye for now!
