Dear faculty and staff,

Periodically, we have the ability to offer Carthage employees our surplus fleet vehicles for sale via a sealed bid auction. I am happy to announce that a 2018 Lincoln (automatic, gray color, 46,000 miles) is available. The vehicle will be sold as is, with no warranty.

You may view the vehicle parked in the basement of Lentz Hall. Please call Corinne Johnson at 262-551-5752 or send her an email at cjohnson14@carthage.edu to make an appointment to view the vehicle.

The sealed bid auction is only open to Carthage employees and employees of Carthage vendors (Parkhurst and Barnes & Noble). Your sealed bid must contain your name, contact information, the identity of the vehicle you are bidding on, and your purchase price. Please also identify the vehicle on the exterior of your envelope in which you place your bid.

Using Kelley Blue Book values and web searches, we have established the minimum bid at $20,000.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.

The highest bidder will be contacted and will have until 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 to present a certified check payable to Carthage College for the vehicle.
