Giving Tree: Help provide holiday gifts to children now through Dec. 6

The ELCA Outreach Center provides gifts to hundreds of children and families during the holiday season. This year, Carthage has adopted 73 children to support the Christmas Gift Giveaway through the ELCA Outreach Center.

To participate, grab a tag from the Giving Tree in the northwest corner of the A. F. Siebert Chapel (near the patio that leads to Hedberg Library). Each tag represents one of the 73 children. Once you retrieve the holiday tag, please contact Debbie Clark (ext. 5810, Center for Faith and Spirituality office), who will assist in tracking the tags and sharing gift ideas provided by the families.

The deadline to drop off donated gifts at the Center for Faith and Spirituality is Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. Please do not wrap the gift, but place the gift in a bag with the tag attached. You may also want to consider donating wrapping paper during this time.
