Art Department and Photography and Film and New Media Program Kickoff Oct. 1

Kick off October with the Art Department and the Photography and Film and New Media Program from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art and the VPAL, located next to the gallery. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome!

RSVP to the kickoff

At the kickoff, you will:

• Get door prizes, including plants in handmade ceramic pots and artwork by faculty and students (bring a piece of artwork to give away!)
• Eat pizza
• Ink up a patch to add to the wall-sized backpack in the VPAL as part of “Inktober”
• Screenprint a T-shirt*
• Hang out with cool art, art education, photography, film, and new media folks
• Meet faculty, and get your questions about art majors and minors answered

*Important note: Bring your own T-shirt (and/or any other clothing items for printing: sweatshirts, jeans, totes, bandanas, etc.). Limited T-shirts are available for those who don’t have a shirt or item for screenprinting.
