The Teaching Commons is excited to announce that three Carthage faculty members were selected to be the 2024-25 Wagner Teaching Fellows! Please join us in congratulations these wonderful colleagues:

Professor Melanie Nyhof will explore the benefits of a service learning project that is integrated into a course in her study titled: “The Life Story Project: Integrating a Service-Learning Component into an Adult Development & Aging Course.” This will be a one-year project.

Professor Colleen Palmer plans to investigate the role that artificial intelligence will play in her discipline in her study titled: “Public Relations and AI: Preparing for the Future.” This will be a one-year project.

Professor Emily Wollmuth will research the processes involved in creating models for her students to use in her course through her project titled: “Designing and Implementing Models to Promote Student Learning about the Flow of Genetic Information in Cells.” This will be a two-year study.
