Xanadu” tells the tale of Kira, a magical Greek muse who descends from the heavens of Mount Olympus to the groovy shores of Venice Beach, California, in 1980. Her mission? To inspire Sonny, a struggling artist to create the world’s first roller disco: the epitome of artistic expression in the era of neon and leg warmers. Kira’s journey takes an unexpected turn when she falls in forbidden love with Sonny, leading to chaos as her jealous sisters plot to ruin her plans.

This lively and humorous musical promises an entertaining experience for audiences of all ages, featuring a captivating mix of classic ’80s tunes and roller skating!

The production will run from Friday, Oct. 4 through Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Wartburg Theatre.
