Carthage engineering students attend Society of Women Engineers regional conference

Carthage engineering students joined other students from Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Marquette’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) second annual regional convention on Sept. 28.

This year’s conference, themed “Embrace, Empower, and Excel,” engaged students in sessions and panels with academic and industry leaders. Students were joined by practicing women engineers from Hunzinger Construction Company, raSmith, Komatsu, ABB, Graef, and ITW.

The convention provides opportunities for our students to network, learn, and seek out internship opportunities.
