Local teachers and future educators invited to free Happy Hour and Networking Event Nov. 12
Teachers and aspiring educators in Kenosha and Racine are invited to a Happy Hour and Networking Event from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Church and Market, 701 56th St. in downtown Kenosha.
This free event hosted by Carthage offers a unique opportunity to meet fellow educators, enjoy complimentary appetizers and beverages, and discover how you can accelerate and advance your career through various educational pathways.
Attendees will have the chance to learn about Carthage’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) program, which offers flexible, comprehensive options for teachers looking to deepen their expertise and move into leadership roles. Information will also be provided on the Accelerated Certification for Teachers (ACT) program, designed for those looking to fast-track their teaching credentials. Educators can also learn more about options for obtaining additional teaching licenses to hone their skills in the classroom and develop new leadership strengths.
“This event is a fantastic way for current and future teachers to connect with like-minded professionals while learning about the opportunities available to enhance their careers,” said Ashley Hanson, vice president for enrollment at Carthage. “Whether you’re looking to earn your M.Ed., get certified quickly, or add licenses to your current degree, there’s an affordable pathway for everyone.”
Appetizers will be provided, and all attendees will receive one complimentary drink ticket. Registration is encouraged, as space is limited. RSVP online or contact Corinne Ness, dean of the Division of Arts and Humanities and the Education Department, at cness@carthage.edu.
