The Office of Equity and Inclusion kicked off the school year with fun events

The Office of Equity and Inclusion started the 2024-25 school year off with fun events to bring students together.

The Multicultural Mixer event on Aug. 27 allowed first-year students to form new friendships and connections across diverse backgrounds, creating an inviting atmosphere for attendees to mingle and share their stories.

The DEI Kickoff on Sept. 13 was a lively celebration with fun activities such as a bounce house, an ice cream bar, music, and dancing. Representatives from various affinity organizations across campus were able to promote their group and show off what they do monthly. The atmosphere and engaging community presence made the event a resounding success, leaving attendees energized and excited for what was to come.
