Career goal

“After I graduate, I hope to find a job teaching art education while also creating my own art.”

How have Carthage faculty had an impact on your life or Carthage career?

“The professors and advisors at Carthage take the time to work with me and make me feel like they are on my team. They push me to my fullest potential, which makes me more motivated to keep going. A few of the instructors who have impacted my life are Professor Jojin Van Winkle, Professor Nina Weisling, Professor Nana LoCicero, and Professor Ryan Miller.”

Favorite class

“So far, my favorite classes are my drawing and ceramic courses. I really enjoy these classes because I get more practice in the arts, as well as a mental break from my studies. It’s my way to destress.”

Campus involvement

“I’m a member of Kappa Pi and Carthage Activities Board.”

Opportunities at Carthage

“One of my art pieces was exhibited in the Annual Juried Art Show! I also participated in the Carthage Chorale for two semesters.”

Why Carthage?
