This course explores how to conduct collaborative field studies of the critically endangered Cao-vit gibbon. We will be traveling to a remote field site in northern Vietnam. Each day we will hike through the center of a lush, tropical rainforest. During our hikes, we will be checking remote monitoring equipment and using state-of-the-art technology to track the movements of these rare and vocal primates for the purposes of aiding in a long-term conservation plan.
