The Carthage Treble Choir will travel and perform in three countries, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovenia, with primary destinations in each country to include Prague (the Czech Republic), Munich, (Germany), Salzburg (Germany), Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Cejkovice (the Czech Republic).

Up to eight concerts will be performed throughout the tour with the premiere of a new work with text by the acclaimed Danish poet Simon Gotrian (1961-2019). Many of our concerts will be performed with choirs from the region where we are performing.

This tour is not exclusive to a particular gender. Students electing to travel with this choir must audition and exhibit a vocal range and tessitura (the part of the vocal range that is comfortable to sing in for extended periods) that falls within the standard treble choir (soprano/alto) range, or play an instrument that is part of the repertoire to be performed.

If you are currently a member of the Treble Choir or have sung in this choir in the past, an additional audition is not required. Participants in the study tour must be members of the Carthage Treble Choir in fall 2022 in order to learn the repertoire for the tour.
