    Amy has been a member of the Carthage community since 2001. Amy serves multiple roles at Carthage, including dance coach, spirit director, career specialist with The Aspire Program, and an adjunct visual communications instructor.

    Amy works as the Career Specialist for Arts, Communication, and Culture in The Aspire Center, Carthage’s four-year career and purposeful life development program. She also directs all of Carthage’s spirit programs, including cheer, dance, baton, flag, and the mascot Ember.

    Since 1997, Amy has also worked as an artist with a national gift wrap company creating artwork for Target and Walmart, as a graphic designer with international consumer goods company S.C. Johnson, Inc., as an agency designer with Design Partners Inc., and as a small business entrepreneur with A. Creative Promotions. She was also an art educator with Racine Unified School District.

    Amy is always on the lookout for additional ways to connect with Carthage students. As an instructor, Amy enjoys opening students’ eyes to how our world is visually communicated and how to be ethical and creative with their visual communication.

    Amy has a passion for the arts and an infectious enthusiasm for being creative.

    Amy has a bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

    Amy and her husband, Lewis ’97, have a blended family with five children, Madison, Lewis, Samantha ’26, Mia ’27, and Tyler.
