Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Joe Wopat! Joe is a recipient of the 2022-2023 Industry Internship Award.
Joe Wopat was a driven and ambitious senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing an Engineering Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering degree. Originally from Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Joe has developed a passion for engineering and gained valuable experience at Sierra Space, where he has worked on thermal control systems and Dream Chaser structural dynamics. After graduating in December 2023, Joe hopes to continually improve his skillset as he enters his career in an exciting time in the aerospace industry.
