Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Amanda Baylor! Amanda is the recipient of the 2022-2023 WSGC Graduate and Professional Research Fellowship.
Amanda is ending the fourth year of her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She completed her undergraduate B.S. in Physics with a minor in Astronomy at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Currently, as a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, Amanda analyzes gravitational wave data from the mergers of black holes and neutron stars.
