Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight, Gabriel Freedman! Gabriel is the recipient of the 2022-2023 WSGC Graduate and Professional Research Fellowship.
Gabriel Freedman is in his second year in the Physics PhD program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Gabriel attended the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate studies and graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Physics and Astronomy. He worked as a data analyst for two years before returning to academia to pursue his PhD at UWM. He currently works under Prof. Sarah Vigeland, studying gravitational waves using pulsar timing arrays.
