Congratulations to this week’s #WSGCStudentSpotlight Emily Harper! Emily is the recipient of an Elijah High-Altitude Balloon Research Scholarship.
Emily Harper is a Chemistry and English double major at Lawrence University. On campus, she is involved in student government and is on the board for the Student Alliance Against Sexual Harassment and Assault. She is also vice president of a new science club focused on performing demonstrations for younger kids to get them involved in science, which she is excited to work on more this year. Emily also works in Lawrence’s Chemistry stockroom during the academic year and enjoys any opportunity to do hands-on science. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and playing the ukulele.
Congratulations Emily, and best of luck to you in your future!
